With Trez Forman Capital, Ryan serves as a commercial real estate loan originator.
Ryan joined the firm from the Barlington Group, a Miami based real estate investment and development company, where he was a Principal. Ryan was involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations, including capital markets, acquisitions, development, and asset management. Ryan actively invested in and managed a portfolio of properties in Miami with a value of approximately $50 million. Prior to this role, Ryan was a Vice President in the origination and acquisition group at Torchlight Investors, where he relocated from the New York City headquarters to open a Miami office. He was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing high yield commercial real estate debt and equity investments. In his 8 year tenure at Torchlight Investors, Ryan contributed to the investment of over $1 billion in commercial real estate related debt, equity, and fixed income structured products. At the start of Ryan’s career, he worked in the commercial real estate structured product advisory group at Ernst & Young in New York.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both finance and accounting from Syracuse University, where he graduated Cum Laude.
